With a vicar and eight daughters, I would have thought that the language would be clean and there wouldn't be any premarital sex. Silly me. This story was predictable, and Reverend Augustus Shackleford is no longer funny. Although I rated the last book the same, I thought this might be more interesting once the author hit her stride.
