Roses have always been one of America's favorite flowers, not only in nature but as a motif in quilts. If you have always wanted to make beautiful appliqued rose quilts but couldn't draft the patterns, your troubles are over!
Here is a wonderful collection of 44 traditional appliqued rose quilt blocks, and with the ready to use templates, you can make any of these blocks in either 12" or 16" size.
All of these quilt blocks come from traditional sources. Many are taken from old appliqued quilts. Three of the blocks, "Album Rose Wreath", "Album Roses" and "Rose Bouquet", are taken from a Baltimore album quilt which is now in the Art Institute of Chicago.
