One night Dinah Price goes upstairs and finds three grumbly bears in her bed. To her astonishment, they refuse to budge until she's told them a bedtime story. Next, there's a wicked witch to please, and then Puss in Boots, Sleeping Beauty, a wolf and a whole chain of other cheeky characters. Dinah's bed is full of surprises and her story is full of stories - funny ones, fantastic ones and some that are a bit frightening. Reviewers called it "original and charming" and "splendid poker-faced parodies of fairy tales."
