Okay, I really hate to give a book a bad rating, but I didn't like it. I had heard that it would be easier to read than original Shakespeare. There are so many $12 words here, that it wasn't any easier for my kids. It just wasn't "enjoyable" which is what I heard about it. It was still significant work and not necessarily worth the effort, because basically, his stories weren't all that great and interesting. (just my views on shakespeare)
PS if you homeschool, it isn't written anywhere that they have to read shakespeare. Many people have lived their entire lives without reading any of it and have been successful in life. A cursory understanding of the characters and plot lines like Cliffs notes work just as well for cultural literacy.
