Although I have yet to read this book, I've read other reviews that have said it ends the trilogy on a low note. Everything from the characters to the plot are twisted into something unrecognizable. Calwyn's powers randomly return and she supposedly discovers that she's related to one of the characters mentioned in a previous book. Then Samis returns after he was supposed to be dead.

I don't know about you, but I think this series should have been done and finished with after the first book.
