It was a very good book. I like how it is about how strong families can be and how important it is to be part of and close to your family. It was interesting to hear about the wealth and what people could do with it and get away with because of it but at the same time they seem like such normal people with typical problems. I really enjoyed meeting all the different people in their lives and getting an idea of what a texas ranch might be like if you were mega-wealthy and had a hand in a lot of different things.

This book is 2 for 1 and includes the first 2 novels in Fern Michael's "Texas" series. These are wonderful books that follow the lives of one family. There were many times when I got so caught up in their stories that I could not put it down. Captivating and very well written.
