I did not like the heroine from the previous books but i read her book to further along the story about Maverick. At first i was beginning to warm to her and then she began to behave all holier than thou. If he was her best friend as she claims then she knew him better than anyone else and that meant giving him time. Her actions showed otherwise. I don't believe in their HEA.
