Absolutely wonderful account of Diet Eman's life in the Netherlands during the German occupation and how God faithfully brought her through despite her personal losses.

back cover - The inspiring true story of Diet Eman, a young Dutch woman who, with her fiance, Hein Sietsma, risked everything to rescue imperiled Jews in Nazi-occupied Holland during WWII. Throughout the years that Diet and Hein aided the Resistance, their courageous effort ultimately saved the lives of hundreds of Dutch Jews. This is an unforgettanble story of heroism, faith, and--above all--love.

This is one of the most inspiring books I have ever read. It is a book of great trials, many hardships as she was involved with the Underground in the hiding of Jews. In all the tragedies and atrocities inflicted by the Nazis, her faith in God kept her through it all. The book reads as though you were there; a very real experience. As for me, it made me more thankful than ever for God's grace. I highly recommend this book.
