The author hits a wide range of personal topics that include having lustful thoughts about others while you're married, envy of others, and forgiveness of self. Extremely helpful to have a first person narrative, and such frank confessions of her own weaknesses. It makes the reader feel as if they're not so alone, and can find solace in the scriptures.

This book is for EVERY woman! There is a great depth and wealth of insight from Ms. Clark. I like the way the book is organized; she tackles each topic of subtle lie that we fall for (e.g., our appearance is WHO we are) and counters each with the truth from God's perspective. She gives all of us wonderful tools for dealing with the spiritual battle being waged in our minds..ways to say NO to the world and Satan's lies and redirect our thoughts in healthier, holier ways. You will likely be convicted and made a little uncomfortable at SOME point, but you will also be highly encouraged to find that the struggles you feel alone with are truly universal and there are BETTER ways to think and live.
