Debbie Macomber at her finest as ever!! Very witty story of 3 different, strong, independent woman who know how to jump in there and take charge of their lives!! Very well done.

Macomber is always good. But a little too predictable at times. This book is no exception. Three stories. Or should I say one story told three different ways?
That said, I'll still get the next book. They soothe my soul.

Three women meet at their fifteen-year class reunionand discover that their lives have taken unexpected directions. Back in their college days, Gretchen Wise had been engaged to a top law student. Carol Furness, head cheerleader, had said yes to the school's football hero. And Maddie Cobain was the girl who'd fallen for a professor.

Now the three of them gather around a popular fountain on the college grounds. This fountain was where lovers met, where promises were madeand broken. So it's fitting that Gretchen, Carol and Maddie sit here to share their stories of betrayal and, yes, revenge. Stories of finding new love

I found this book a little slow at first but then the pace picked up and the story got more interesting. This is about three college graduates that were jilted before their wedding day and now they have come back for their reunion and they tell one another their stories. Great summer read! I highly recommend it!

They were college friends with plans to become blushing brides. Gretchen had the beauty. Maddie the brains, and Carol the bounce-she was a cheerleader, after all! And they each had a man to marry. Gretchen had snagged a law student with a bright future. Maddie had a professor, ready to teach her the art of love. And Carol's football hero had impressive moves on-and off-the field. But suddenly there was trouble in paradise....
Even though the caterers were booked, the bouquets bought and the bridal dresses were ready to wear...the grooms suddenly got cold feet. And that's when these three women decided they weren't going to get mad...they were going to get even!
