This was another good story in the series although it had a few slow spots. I liked Vanessa and enjoyed the way she handled Rock. Looking forward to the next book in the series.
Exactly what I'm looking for in a romantic suspense read! This one was so good I'm going to reread the rest of the series. There's a tough and honorable almost to a fault hero, a heroine who won't quit until she breaks down the walls around his heart, and a great group of secondary character teammates that provide community and humor. Steamier than most romances. Even the mystery turned out to be a surprise for me.
I was going to skip this book but I just couldn't resist a sexy Cajun. I'm glad I didn't skip it because it was a great book. It wasn't very believable but i don't really expect them to be. I was so happy that the heroine wasn't a total idiot like the first book in the series. I can't wait for Bills story to come out.
Couldnt put it down, the Ragin Cajun Rock got his story but his story isnt like his fellow BKI's, his starts with him on the run from all government offices looking to 86 him on the spot, he is a rouge and trying to find the person reasonable for his blacklisted. Rock never thought his brothers would help him more then ever but also he never expected a certain latin coworker would find him in the middle of the jungle but Vanessa did and its her job to bring in Rock and find a way to clear his name after 6 months he disappeared from his exit in Jake & Shells book.
another good book! this series just gets better. :)
