Number 37 of the discontinued Silhouette Shadows books. Its a great paranormal novel and I love how Rachel Lee writes the story and brings everything to life (literally but you will have to read the novel to understand) I got an double of this book or else I would not be giving it up.
Summary: Mercy Kendrick gets trapped up on an mountain with the mysterious and dangerous Gray Cloud who is also the silent guardian of the mountain. Someone or something seems out to kill her and so she has no choice but to trust Gray Cloud with her life.

It was possiable to believe but Mercy Kendrick could not escape the senation that the strom racked mountain looking down on Conard County was a living, breathing entity-a being so poserful it could destroy an unwelcome mortal in a instant.
