Paul Fenner knows Tiffany is a real pain the moment he lays eyes on her. THe problem is that everyone expects them to be friends, just because they're both adopted. But how can Paul like someone who sneaks into his mother's room and reads her diary and who runs away and hides at his best friend's birthday party? Besides, she's taller than he is.

Then one day Tiffany is gone, and Paul is worried. Somehow he must find her and make sure she's all right--or he could disappear, too!
