I have a difficult time giving any book five stars, seems so over the top, like when I was teaching and only the few receive that perfect A in math. But here's the thing, it kept my attention and the characters were believable. Also, there were numerous sides to the story, a bit of history, bit of a love story, just how far will Jesse go. The parts about baby Willy are priceless; I could almost feel my babies in my arms again. There is some crude discussion, so be aware of age appropriate. I like a book that doesn't fit into just one genre.
