I expect children's stories to be relatively upbeat and encouraging. Unfortunately, this book didn't pass the muster for either attribute. The parent seemed negative and complained. Bunny couldn't do anything right. On the other hand, the drawings are charming, and the gender of the bunny is unspecified, which would help any children identify with the bunny.
Two charming aspects of this book are the rabbit dressed in the frog suit and the expression on the bunny's face after the two bites. I think this short book would amuse toddlers the most.
