A Time To Live
Author: Jerry Eicher
Young Jason Esh follows the maneuvers and happenings of life around him, as his father threatens to leave the Amish faith and his grandfather decides what to do about it. This is a penetrating story of the Amish psyche from someone who lived it. The most thorough treatment to-date of a facinating time.

A great book looking into the lifestyle of the Amish. The book is well-written, shares happenings within the Amish community. One Amish community moves to Honduras to begin a new life. I enjoyed reading this book; learning about the Amish, their adventures in Honduras with the mission-work and starting their life anew. The stories about Jason Esh and other Amish kinfolk are very interesting. A great read that you will come away with knowing more about the Amish community, as well as an adventure to Honduras.

I enjoyed this book very much even though it was different from other Amish books I have been reading. It was a great historical read on the background of the this family.
