  Time machine in binding
constrained only by the mind.
Explore peaks or plains
Of the familiar and alien kind.

Leave the Earth far behind
To the moon and stars above;
Learn of fits of fury
Or of unrequited love.

Follow the fame and fortune
Of the multitude that you have seen
Or pursue a long lost leader
Through many of his dreams.

Go ahead and step inside
The places you will go.
Experience the excitement
Only a book can bestow.

I love the way you described a book as a time machine in binding. I love historical fiction and that's truly what a book is for me -- a device that carries me away to another place and time. Impressive that you were able to rhyme it.
