Timeless Wish is written in a style reminiscent of Linda Lael Miller at her best, with a flavor of the Western lore of Dorothy Garlock. It is a fast-paced, imaginative plot with many twists, peopled with living, breathing, very believable characters. The heroine, 20th Century Laura Bennett, is slowly recovering from past destructive relationships. The hero, 19th Century Sheriff Corby Hillhouse, is not recovering very well from losing two wives and is unable to show his love to his little daughter, fearing to lose her too. Both these lonely people make a wish upon a star on New Year, a hundred years apart. The rest is history... An engrossing and thoroughly satisfying read. I expect we shall hear more about this author in the near future. Good job, Barbara!
