I love all these Assey Mayo mysteries but to enjoy them you have to step back in time - no TV, PC, cell phones, etc. Could be that's why they are so good, an escape to a more laid-back life. This one published 1935 - good plot, likeable characters.
Loved it. Am enjoying all the Asey Mayo books. I bought some and have gotten a number of them through the club.
