This book is geared toward 3-4 grade girls, but written in a language style for younger. I did not give this to my grandsons & their mom's also did not enjoy it. Disappointing & message encouraged expressing your moods but did not discuss that although you might feel mad or angry the appropriate ways to express it.

My girls love to be read to and they really enjoy the wonderful pictures and how colorful they are.
