Toll House Cake

Serves 8-10
2 1/4 c unsifted flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 c butter, soften
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 1/4 c milk
1/2 package(1 cup) nestle Mini-morsels

Creamy Frosting
1/3 cup butter
1 cup Nestle Mini-Morsels
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
5 tablespoons milk

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; set
3. In large bowl, combine butter, brown sugar and vanilla
extract; beat until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating
well after each addition.  Alternately blend in flour mixture
with milk.
4. Stir in Nestle Mini-Morsels. Pour into two greased and flourd
8 or 9-inch-round cake pans.  Bake the layers for 35 minutes.
5. Cool 15 minutes in the pan.  Remove from pans.  Cool
completely on wire racks.  (Do not test for doneness by piercing
with cake tester for cake may lose volume).

1. In small saucepan, melt butter. Stir in Nestle Mini-Morsels
until melted. Transfer to small bowl.  Add salt and vanilla
2. Gradually beat in confectioners' sugar alternately with milk.
  Fills and frosts two 9-inch cake layers.  Makes about 2 1/4
cups frosting.
