I always find it fascinating to imagine what I would do in a survival situation and this is the most comprehensive guide (2 books in 1!) that I have ever seen. Although Tom Brown does tend to go off on narrative tangents about HOW he learned these techniques, he also spends a great deal of time presenting the strategies, skills, and "found" equipment to face any scenario. I've gleaned some useful backpacking tips from it too!
