This is the first book I've read by this author. The story revolves around the death of an infant born with a heart defect and its affect on his parents and extended family. The author adequately portrays the conflict and loss felt by the main characters. The author uses minimal descriptive writing to describe scenes and physical traits of the characters which makes the book a fast read.
