Is there just a major overload of romance novels on here? I have a ton posted on here but none of them are going...They are good authors and great books, I have read them all and would like to be able to get new ones...but no one is requesting the ones I have posted....what gives?

Have you posted in the Book Bazaar to show off your shelf? *off to check out your booklist*

Also offering a deal 2/1 or 5/2 or 5/2 gets things moving in the Book Bazaar

Except for hot, wishlisted titles, romance does tend to be slow to move.  There are so many deals offered, I usually wait for deals unless it's a rare book or one I just gotta have.

I have mostly romance and have been getting regular orders not just WL.But then I post a lot and have a 2for1 deal plus some unpostable freebies.  I think that helps.  I just sent out 3 books I've had for a while yesterday.  It only cost 2.47 to mail them and I only got one credit. But I doubt I would have gotten that much if I sold them back to the UBS.  Especially since one was unpostable.  Try running a 2 for 1 or 3 for 1 deal in Book Bazaar.  Put the deal in your signature and make some posts. I'm convinced that posting regulary and having deals in my signature is helping me get book orders.

Try offering a 2 for 1 or 3 for 1 deal over in the book bazaar.  Put your deal in your signature line so people can see it when you post on the forums.

Sometimes your shelf moves slowly and sometimes it doesn't.  I haven't had an order in like 3 weeks and today I came home and had 3 orders from 3 different people.

I have noticed that the paranormals move alot faster than the historicals in the romance department. So,I am stuck with some historicals but I don't mind, eventually they will move.Plus,I keep buying more books much to my hubby's despair, but at least I know when I am done I can post them here and they will move... they are mostly paranormal romance and most are wishlisted.

Have you considered becoming a BOXER here? A lot of romance books get taken off my shelf that way. (My boxer account is on hold right now.) That way you could get  some books to read and it won't cost you a credit to get one.  The cost of 8.00 for the year is really inexpensive when you figure that it is only .67 a month. What a deal!

I would love to do the boxing thing but I have a move coming up and so many unread books.  I need to send books out faster then I request them.  Of course I keep hitting the used book store.

April, I agree about the BOXER.  I found that I get more books that way and mine ahve went out quicker.  I also found the book bazarr offering a 3 for 1 or bax on Romace is a great way to get them moving.  The funny thing is once I have done the boxes and the 3 for 1 it is hard for me to ask for just 1 book and use a whole credit on just the one. :)
