gosh challenge me why dont' you?!
I'd pick jayne ann krentz (esp since she's written so many LOL!),
meg cabot (ok not so many written but the ones I've read have been funny!),
nora roberts (sorry I know a lot are tired of her but she has a lot of stuff out and I've liked a lot of it!)
reserved in case I remember somone I gotta have!
I agree it's very hard to choose just 5!! Here are mine:
Curtiss Ann Matlock
Linda Lael Miller
LaVyrle Spencer (she's retired, so she doesn't count against my top 5! lol).
I'd go for:
Linda Lael Miller
I'm sure I'm forgetting someone though! I tried to think of authors whose books I pick up no matter what.
It's hard to choose so I tried to think of books on my keeper shelf that I reach for to reread when nothing in my TBR pile interests me.
Took me awhile to narrow it down, but I'm going with:
Susan Elizabeth Phillips
(Until I change my mind, or you let us pick 5 more :)
I'm assuming this was restricted to romance authors, since we're in the Love & Romance forum and all.
This is really hard.
1. Linda Howard . . .because I can have so many excellent books that way
2. Nora Roberts aka J.D. Robb . . .same reason
3. Jayne Ann Krentz under all her names . . . same reason
4. Sharon/Tom Curtis aka Laura London, Robin James
5. Carla Kelly
6. Alison Fraser. . . because I have to have at least one strictly series author
How to pick just 5.........
Julie Garwood (I just LOVE her books both present day and historical)
Lucy Monroe (She is new to me but I can not get enough of her heros)
JoAnn Ross (I can curl up with her books anythime)
Janet Evanovich (when I need a laugh and remeber that my life could get worse)
Sandra Hill (Vikings, Navy Seals, Treasure Humters, NEED I SAY MORE)
So many others that I can not put one down. Depends on if I want lots of action, lots of romance or lots of both !
Hey there, its so hard to choose just 5.
For my romance authors I'd have to choose:
My top 5:
( I'm tempted to swap one of those with Lucy Monroe, Lori Foster and Lora Leigh-there are just so many I love).
