I have been a member for a couple of weeks.  I have a book that has a large piece of the corner torn off but taped back together.   Since it wasn't it the greastest condition, I was going to just give it to goodwill but noticed it was on some members' wishlist.  Is there a way to find out if some members don't mind the torn cover?  Thanks

Rose, You can edit your post here, name the book and ask for PM's from people who would want it, then post it to the list of someone who responds.  Or do the same in Book Bazaar.  It's a long shot that those requestors would see if but it might work.  OR, offer it up as a freebie on the condition that another book is ordered from your shelf for a credit.

Rose - Unfortunately, the book is not postable, and the only thing you can do is offer it as a freebie.  See my signature line for an example of how to do this.

Thanks for the advice!  How do you go about offering it as a freebie?

You can either advertise it on your signature line, as I have done and/or you can advertise in the book bazaar forum.  If you go there and read other's posts, you'll see examples of how to do this.  In my opinion, the best thing you can do is to do it both ways (siganture line plus book bazaar) as you'll reach more people that way.

There is also a topic in the Bazaar specifically for unpostable WL books isnt there? Used to be, but I haven't noticed lately.
