This was AWESOME!
1st thank you so much for sharing your creative & imaginative world.

I really thought I would just be reading another alien romance. And I would have enjoyed that. But this was so SO much more. It was a combination of the alien romance with a paranormal community. It's not that it's never been done, but this had so many tweaks & spins...I loved the kids & am grateful for the humor (so many books supposed to be humorous, really don't even get me to crack a smile; this was a true LOL).

She could have ended it several times. As so many authors do, right when things get interesting...but instead, she added a whole new world. I am hoping that is explored more fully in later books. It would have been better if she hadn't finally succumbed to the summary/epilogue & glossed over the final "rescue." Oh, well.

I realize there many be some people that think it's an easy out to have magic solve everything, but I thought this was expertly done, so those issues were not triggered during my read.

And there wasn't an overload of sex. Sometimes, sure I'm in the mood for that, but I'd rather have more story than sex & thought this was an excellent balance.

I was first introduced to this author with her Alliance series and I liked them well enough to start seeking out her other books. This one was a great new series to add to her list. There was an excellent balance of sex versus story and I really didn't feel like she rushed it at the end to tie everything up. I liked this book well enough that I immediately sought out the next two in the series taking on tory and alexandru's kiss. All of them are great and this author is definitely going on my auto buy list from here on out. I would also recommend books by M. K. Eidem if you like sci-fi/alien type books as she focuses on story versus sex as well.
