I liked Beth in the previous book but for her own book I didn't like her so much. I loved Raphael! But Beth just got too annoying and challenging Raphael at every turn was just irritating. Did like her finally acknowledging her family though. For someone so outspoken it was actually irritating for her to close-up after the whole "sex" incident and subsequently finding out she was in love with Raphael.
