A well crafted small-town ghost story with solid character development. The author crafts a compelling portrait of a rural Canadian town overcome with oddities. I found it to be almost cute, not scary, not really a "horror" novel, but still a good tale that kept the pages turning.

Kenneth Harvey does an excellent job of depicting a small town...where things aren't quite where they seem...where history and opportunities blend together in a series of strange occurrences.

After I got into this book a ways I got hooked but the whole premise of the book was a little confusing at times. It was one that you had to really concentrate while reading or you would get lost in the translation, so to speak.
