Is it just me or recently is the tracking information missing on PBS paid postage? I can see the details if I track on USPS but if I go to details on PBS for books en route to me or that I have shipped they remain blank except for the DC number. Just checking if it just me or a glitch that is already known about? Thanks! |

I have 5 requests which used the PBS tracking. Of those 5 none show any movement other than the initial USPS tracking numbers - of those 5 - 3 are in transit and 2 haven't been received by the Post Office yet. So, don't know if it's a glitch on the part of PBS or if the Postal Service is so overwhelmed with lack of staff due to the virus that they haven't got time to scan or what. So there is a problem somewhere. Pat |

Pat, I have noticed the same. Some of the packages will have a ton of tracking information and some don't even get scanned until they are out for delivery. |

The problem is likely with the company that we but our postage from and is not sending the information over. This has happened before but never for so long. If you put the numbers into the USPS site the tracking shows there. I first noticed it on a book I mailed a few weeks ago then it happened on the one I mailed last week. |

We have non- PBS item with tracking number stuck too. --no more tracking on PBS book stuck in Dallas since 5 July; certified letter for estate that had to go 8 hours away should have been delivered ten days ago and is still stuck somewhere between St Louis and KY. But the tracking is still happening with USPS for the books mailed as if we put in the tracking number it shows. The information just isn't being submitted to the site from Endicia. At least we are still getting our credits Nikki and Pat although I feel bad for those waiting for a scan to get a credit. The team likely needs to do that manually for them. |

I sent the Team a message about the issue in case they were unaware. I will update when they respond. |

Thanks Rebecca! I wanted to make sure it wasn't just me Definitely feel super bad for thost that are waiting for a scan to get a credit. |

I sent out a package of 10 books using PBS postage over a week ago and it doesn't show as scanned yet but the post office shows that it will be delivered on Monday! I wouldn't have bothered using PBS postage if I hadn't wanted my quick credits that I didn't get. |

If you double click the PBS Tracking number and copy / paste it into the USPS Tracking site it'll (almost always) tellyou where your book / package has been to and has last left from.

and PBS just ate my response here........again |

I finally got an update (on USPS and not on here) that the book that has been stuck in Des Moines for 3 weeks has arrived in Elk Grove, IL! It is going to go lost in two days, so here's hoping it arrives tomorrow. |

Book I mentioned earlier has now gone lost, USPS tracking still showing last scanned in Dallas on 5 July. Sender is not happy, but neither am I since book hasnt arrived. |
yes last few I've sent out don't even show that they were scanned on pbs but if I enter the tracking on usps, it shows up really wish pbs would get their act together |
When this happened before it was because of Endicia not sending the tracking to PBS. They can't show something they don't have. No response yet from PBS. |
I also sent feedback on Monday regarding the tracking issue but I have not gotten a response either. |

Here is the response for those of us with PBS Postage Issues: "Dear Rebecca,
Thanks for writing in! Yes, we have noticed a new issue in some areas of the country, of USPS delay in transmitting scans of their tracking numbers to our system. This can happen if they change their software without telling us.
It's very frustrating, and we are very sorry about this! We are working on a fix.
We do hope to have this issue fixed soon! In the meantime, if any of the books you send is declared 'lost' by our system, please let us know and we'll look into it!

Thanks so much Rebecca for sharing their response with us! |

The tracking is showing for my PBS Postage books now when I click on details. So Endicia must have fixed the issue. |

Yes, my tracking details are showing up also and I checked at the USPS tracking and it reads the same as at PBS, so am presuming it's accurate. Pat |

Whoo hoo! Glad they were able to get it worked out. |

As of 8.12.20 PBS tracking isn't up to date. If you go to the USPS site and put in the tracking number it shows that the books are farther along than what is showing at PBS. I have a book that's showing as being in Denver, but when I go to the USPS site, it shows that it's out for delivery to me. |
it was working for awhile but now it seems to have stopped again. |

Mailed out 13 books on Friday using PBS postage. Every one shows as having been scanned. I've only gotten my quick credit for one. |
you get your credit as soon as you mark the book mailed. Scanning has nothing to do with getting your credit |
