If a transaction is marked "unresolved" because the sender of the book did not respond to PMs and did not return a politely requested credit, does that sender get an automatic message from TPTB here at PBS or is there just an internal accounting? What happens when senders send unpostable books and fail to respond to PMs or refuse to return credit? Just curious. |

I know that if a sender doesn't respond to the PM you send with the RWAP, you're supposed to wait a week, and then submit the follow up information to the PBS team that the sender didn't respond to your PM. They get an email from PBS at that point, telling them to log in and deal with the problem, but I have no idea what that says or what happens from there; in other words, if they suspend the account if the sender doesn't log in after a specified time period - which I think is likely, but can't say for certain happens. |

I don't think they suspend someone's account over one bad transation. They also don't make them refund the credit. But marking it not resolved kind of acts as a double mark against them. So if there are other complaints they can look at the overall account and seeing another problem that was unresolved will help close the account down. I've had 2 now that didn't resolve the problem with a book I marked RWP and they are both still active. I checked out of curiosity. So my guess is that I'm the only complaint they had at this point. |

When a transaction is marked "unresolved", it does trigger a form email to the sender, reminding them they should try to work out problems with the transactions, etc etc. Cheers, |
