This book, recommended to me by a fellow PBS member, is such a hidden gem! Wonderful, complex characters, wonderful storyline that weaves back and forth between Hungry, now, during WWII and during the Revolution, and northern England. Very involving read. This is a new author to me and I am now eager to read her other books. I recommend this book highly!
