This is an American historical saga about the duel between Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr and the mystery of politics and power in the days when our nation was young.

Historical fiction at it's finest. David Nevin leaves no stone unturned in bringing the characters of our nations founding to life. "The American story" is a three book series beginning with the death of George Washington and ending with Ole Hickory's crushing blow to the redcoats at New Orleans in 1814. "Treason" is the 2nd book and details the fall of Aaron Burr, the Hamilton duel and Burr's attempt to steal the entire Louisiana Territory from Jefferson. I can't say it enough, Great books.

Great story of early America. Brings Aaron Burr, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison to life as if you lived next door to them. Part of a great series by Nevin.
