a very good read! The suspense builds, you sympathise with the bad guy, but you still want to see him go down.

If you haven't yet read T. Jefferson Parker and are a fan of authors such as J. Kellerman, S. Woods, N. Demille, H. Coben, D. Baldacci then you simply HAVE to read him. Excellent character development. I always get so involved with them and wonderful mysteries at the same time.

I appreciate Parker's approach to crime fiction. This book has been referred to as a masterpiece. I don't know that I'd go that far, but it is suspenseful, well written, and provocative. The depths to which revenge takes all sorts of people. This is a murdered journalist, and an ex FBI criminal.

This begins with a murder no one seems able to solve, though the FBI agent in charge is sure "who done it." Even the "bad guys" are somewhat sympathetic characters...for a while. Enjoyable read.

There were two men in Rebecca Harris's life, and both men silently knew of the other's existence in her life. Each hoped that when she made her ultimate decision between them, he would be the chosen one.

NOW THEY MUST BECOME ALLIES TO SOLVE HER MURDER.

An engrossing complex thriller that's also damned scary.
