I always enjoy von Hildebrand's insights on the Christian life. In this book, originally published in 1967, he catalogs the harmful effects of false philosophies that have been introduced in an effort to bring the Church "up to date". His is a prophetic voice, as it was when he combated infant Nazism in the 30's.
