Having forgotten to bring my list of recommends from Book Club, I was wandering the stacks at our local library. I was attracked to this little volume because it looked well-read. There were several other books by the same author, the size appealed to me, and I borrowed the book. Oh, my, I think I've found a new author to add to my search.
I have visited San Francisco but don't know the area well. As the author gave such detailed descriptions of the streets, neighborhoods and buildings, I felt drawn into the story.

I have read the entire Sharon McCone series. Marcia Muller is an excellent mystery writer. I would suggest you start with the first book and read as they were written. It is an excellent series.
