Claire Brown's vacation starts with a comedy of errors--the biggest involving her fiance. Would you want to stay engaged to a man who brought his new girlfriend on your vacation! But Claire's determinded to enjoy the romantic lodge, despite the fact that nothing's going right. Then she meets the proprietor, John McBride. Mutual annoyance soon turns to mutual attraction. Throw in a bit of intrigue (Claire tries to figure out who's cooking the books at her firm) and you've got a fun read that will make you chuckle!

Good story line. There's a workaholic heroine who takes what should be a romantic vacation with her supposed fiance. Poor thing gets dumped, sleeps in a storeroom at the plush resort and mistakes the owner for a handyman. Lots of fun.
