This book was just not my cup of tea. I have read several books by David Roberts and liked them. This book did not grab me as so many of the climbing books have. Jon Krakauer is another author that I really like.I have read many, many climbing books and have been fascinated by them, but this just didn't quite ring my bell. However if you like to get into the history of climbing from the 1800 until now, you will probably like this book
