A great series for younger girls, to and teens - very enjoyable, fast-moving and fun.
I love this series! Don't need to read the first one to get into it. About a girl who experiences NO FEAR and uses this ability to make the world better. Great read for low high school, slight violence and very slight sexuality (minimal)... just not for small children. My favorite young adult series!
Even though this series is written for the "young adult", I am hooked.
Gaia is a girl born without the fear gene, and has no idea that her father is nearby watching out for her. Her main concerns are Ed and Sam and Ella, her best friend, a boy she's crazy about, and her evil foster-step-mom. She has no idea there is an agency concerned about her existence and that they may be out to kill her.

Trust.
It's not really my thing.
I can count the people I trust on one hand.
On one finger, in fact.
So what happens if that person betrays me?
