This book is written by a woman who experienced abuse herself. A lot of the book deals with moving away from negatives feelings about yourself so you can truly discover God's meaning for your life. Between many lessons are stories; some are from the author's personal experiences and others are from people she's encountered. This is a great workbook style book (that has not been written in) that I would recommend to anyone who wants to get rid of their feelings of uselessness and depression.
