Lots of fun verbal sparring, especially between the main characters, makes this an enjoyable read. The main detraction is the repeated use of hard-to-believe plot elements: a cougar attack, a ride in a dumpster, hanging by one arm off a cliff until being rescued, the cops arriving just in the nick of time, a warm cave appearing just when needed... all in less than 24 hours? Sure....
