No matter how hard or how many times I tried, I could not read this book. I just couldn't get into the story. Maybe the fact that the horrid grammer made me want to pluck my eyes out of their sockets didn't help!

Have you ever felt like you don't know your young adult children and they don't know you? Are their memories different than yours? I loved Anne Tyler's Ladder of Years and this book has a similar motif.
