I enjoy her books, but wish there was more 'fleshing out' of the characters and less on the vintage clothing.
I like the characters, but never quite feel that I know them.
I did enjoy the ending, but again wish the characters had had more depth.

I have to say that I have been an avid fan of this series since the beginning but this one was not a favorite. All the elements were there but other than the events at the end, I didn't care about any of the people involved--maybe it took too long to get to them. I am not sure what it was about this one but I felt like I trudged through it. I will say that I did like the ending.
SPOILER: I also don't get the chemistry between Mad and Werner so that aspect of the story just felt weird/forced to me.
