What a great love story, a fast read too. Erotic in a very PG kind of way that was interesting with a different way to write about it. Loved the ending and the book overall, loved the characters as I could really relate to their "independence".

This was an enjoyable standard romance about 2 people who are not interested in finding love being set up by a mutual friend. They become snowbound together in a mountain cabin, adjust to one another and fall in love. I've read better books by Delinsky, but I enjoyed it, it was a quick read, and I recommend it.

Garrick Rodenheiser crashed, burned and found a second chance when he crawled away from the wreck he had made of his life 4 years ago. Now trouble in the form of a rain-soaked woman comes banging on the door of his rote cabin. True she doesn't look like a reporter, but the word trust just isn't in his vocabulary anymore. Leah Gates, a crossword puzzle creater isn't sure of her fate either. She just knows that falling in love is the easy part trusting the future is a different challenge.

Back Cover:
Garrick Rodenheiser crashed, burned and found a second chance when he crawled away from the wreckage of his life four years ago. And while he hasn't exactly escaped his past, he's kept it far enough away.
Until trouble in the form of a rain-soaked, bleeding woman comes banging on the door of his remote cabin. True, she doesn't look like a reporter. But the word trust simply isn't in Garrick's vocabulary anymore.
Crossword puzzle creator Leah Gates has a few words of her own for her reluctant savior; querulous, adamantine...irresistible. She isn't sure if it's cabin fever, lonliness or just plain fate that drew them so magically together. But she does know that falling in love is the easy part. Trusting the future is a differant challenge entirely.
