This was a random find at a bookstore and I am so glad I picked it up! The main character is real, modern, and stays true to herself by following her instincts. Her family and friends only add to the fun day-to-day of her life following her "almost" wedding. Can't wait to read this authors other books!

Great author, I recommend this and her other books, Balencing in High Heels and Do me, do my roots.

Chloe runs away from the altar, leaving behind the shambles of the wedding. Now she has to face her community and find out what scared her so much that she would tumble the traditions.

When a woman leaves her groom (literally) standing at the altar, she begins a journey of self-discovery and growth. But in a funny way . . . The "big reveal" is pretty obvious early on, but it's a fun read anyway.

I was quite surprised that this book was as good as it was! This story is about a woman who leaves her fiancee at the altar and then has to deal with moving on and living her life on her own. The writing was great, the characters were complex, and the story was sweet. I will definitely read more from this author.
