I think that Stephanie Grace whitson has moved into my top three favorite writers with Mary Connealy and Cathy Marie Hake. I've only read two of her books; this one and Sixteen Brides. Both books are exceptional!
I love the history that Ms. Whitson included in this book. How fascinating to read about "Buffalo Bill" Cody's Wild West Show! This is such a perfect book....it's really two love stories! The last chapter and especially the last page took my breath away! It is so beautiful! I was just sitting there with goosebumps on my arms...staring at the page and wanting to start the whole book over again! That, my friend, is a sure sign of a good book!

I really liked this book after I got past the middle. It has to do the Wild West Shows of Wild Bill and Anne Oakley which I was kind of bored with but impressed with the story line on forgiveness.
