This was a wonderful book for the Advent Season. I started this book for a book club that I am in at church but my whole family ended up reading from it daily while we lit our Advent Wreath this season. It had some wonderful prayers and thoughtful passages for each day. It started some great discussions with the children, helped us focus on the reason for the season, and seemed to stretch out the Advent season for all of us. I may give copies of this book as a Christmas gift next year. 5 stars
