I thought book 9 would be the end of the series and was disappointed in it. I was hoping this book would rewaken my interest in the series. Wrong. This book puts Betsy in an alternate timeline to try and correct her perceived mistakes of the future/past. Same characters but much less interesting. It reminded me of the old "dream sequence" they did to end the tv show "Dallas". I guess sometimes Dead should remain Dead.

What can I say about this latest book in the series...don't waste a credit on it. Go get it from your local library, like I did. Ms. Davidson claims that this book is part 2 of a trilogy within the series, it is suppose to be a "filler". Why? I loved the first 8 books in the series but I was disappointed with book 9 and now I completely fed up with Betsy and her antics, I mean how far can you push her ditziness, there is just so much a person can take. I still don't know what this book is suppose to be filling in because it made absolutely no sense to me. The storyline is complete nonsense.

Hmmmm...not sure what to say. Undead and Unfinished and Undead and Undermined; both had bad reviews in PBS, and although I didn't read them all, my complaints are different. Both books were jumpy with lots of typos. I don't like time travel stories, so obviously both books were not for me. (I'm not that bright so I have a hard time keeping up.) And I kind of thought she screwed the pooch by killing off someone in the present, but his future self didn't die. Maybe it's me, but that didn't make sense.
That being said, I'm looking forward to the next one, I just can't help myself.

I totally agree with all the reviews written but I have to add that I would have still read the book anyway if I'd read the reviews first simply because I love the series.

As I was reading the book I thought "is it only me but is this book really ridiculous"? So I guess the author wrote this book for people like me, who blindly follow a series no matter what. Well the only good thing about this is I got the book from the library, so "ha!", I didn't give a dime to the publishers or author for this one.

This book made Betsy seem like a lunatic and you wonder how anything got done. She's constantly raving on and on about issues and normally I'd find it funny but this time I just saw it as filler.

The alternate timeline will be OK if there's a reason for it in the third book. It seems like the author is changing history to fit in with what's coming in future books (I hope).

Betsy Taylor is the vampire queen, married to hunky Sinclairand living in a lavish mansion with her best friends. In the last installment, UNDEAD AND UNFINISHED, Betsy and her half-sister Laura, the Anti-Christ, took a trip to hell. This trip took them through time, the past and the future.

Now, they have returned from their trip and not everything is as it was before they left. Because certain things did not happen in their trip to the past, things have changed. Jessica, Betsy's best friend, is eight months pregnant and although she is still with Nick, he goes by another name. He also likes Betsy now, versus hating her before.

Crazy Marc from the future has followed Betsy and Laura to their present time-line, which shouldn't have happened. Future Betsy is not nice and had tortured Marc for centuries. She needs to send Crazy Marc back and figure out how to fix Marc's timeline so it doesn't happen at all.

With her deal with Satan in UNDEAD AND UNFINISHED, she was supposed to now be able to read the Book of the Dead without going crazy. The problem is that Laura, Satan's daughter and the Anti-Christ, has taken it. This escalates into a large argument ending with Betsy waking up in a morgue several states away. When she finally gets back home, she takes another trip to hell with Laura and Garrett. Her aim is to get Antonia, a werewolf friend who died, back. But Satan has a nasty tidbit to share with Betsy about the Book of the Dead being written on Sinclair's skin. Betsy doesn't believe it at all and returns to her present timeline determined to fix the future. She isn't sure how yet, but she knows she must take care of Crazy Marc first.

UNDEAD AND UNDERMINED is a quick read that takes some time to follow. With references to different timelines, it must be read carefully so the reader can stay on the same page as the characters. Betsy is still a fashionista and deeply in love with Sinclair, which shows through their sizzling love scenes. She's all heart and determined to fix things so she doesn't become evil in the future, hurting the people she loves. With a shocking ending, I look forward to the next in the series, UNDEAD AND UNSTABLE, due out next summer.

Let me begin by saying that I'm not a fan of alternate universe or realities plot lines. But Davidson is so funny that I was able to overlook these faults plus the fact that the overall plot doesn't really move.

Reading this book did make me like the 9th one more and I also understand why Davidson did what she did with the future Betsy. She talks about how this is the middle book of a mini trilogy of the Betsy series and it feels like it. It's a filler book so you can't expect much but some good laughs.

Now if you are into good, strong plot you are going to hate this book. My recommendation is that as a stand-alone it really sucks, but as part of the series it's not necessary bad if you are the cheap thrills type of girl.

I actually really enjoyed the book. I have read the entire series and didn't hate book 9 as much as the others did. There was a lot of crazy sh*t going on here. Especially with the Marc Thing (I thought that would've ended differently), but it still piqued my interest enough to add Book 11 to my wishlist. IMO it wasn't a credit wasted, especially since you'll get it back what with the 200+ wishers still on here.

Betsy is still very selfish and very very self-centered. I'm hoping she will get a grip soon before she REALLY does some deep damage. However, I still give the book 4 stars.

I have loved every word of this series until now. I'm not sure what happened to the author but this book makes you feel as though you didn't fully read the previous book. Also, the storyline switches from past to present to future so much and so quickly you're not even sure you've ever read a previous book in the series.
I will not give up on MJD and this series yet. I hear the next book in the series is much better.
Sooooo disappointed!

There was no point to the story and Betsy is a bigger idiot now than she ever was!!! The freaking horror is sitting through this book thinking there is a point when there isn't.
