I entered a giveaway for this book based on the reviews it had, and I am glad I did!

It is a pretty creative story about a girl who moves to Cape Cod after receiving a phone call that someone has given her a house. There, she discovers the truth about who she and her ancestors truly are and it is both frightening and exciting to her. There is a love story, of course, and some pretty major twists and turns.

There were a few moments where I was at the edge of my seat and completely engaged in the story. There were some shocking moments as well! The lore and paranormal aspects of this book were pretty interesting; it was actually pretty refreshing to read a book of this genre that did not include vampires, werewolves, or zombies (though I do love those).

I think I will have to pick up the next book
