I didn't think it was up to this author's usual high standards.

I have most everything Heinlein wrote in my library and while I'm hard pressed to name a 'favorite' book or anthology this volume comes closest in my humble estimation to displaying the genius that keeps Heinlein at the top of the heap. In these stories the master craftsman takes the most ordinary of events, thoughts, objects and spins flights of fancy that leave the reader either delighted or teetering on the edge of sanity. A sentient whirlwind, an art critic of universal dimensions, paranoia run rampant, a house based on a tesseract rather than a cube (looking up the latter on Wikipedia will only add to your disorientation)...and so forth. Delightful, thought-provoking, a great read.

The Unpleasant Profession of Jonathan Hoag
Robert A Hienlein
In one of the most chilling novellas ever written, the celebrated author of STRANGER IN A STRANGE LAND interrupts the lives of two ordinary people for a terrifying night-ride along the interface between reality and... our world!
